Our 2010 Giving Campaign is all about helping families, building homes, and strengthening our community. Our goal is ambitious; however, we are confident that with the support of our Staff, Board of Directors and Leadership Team, we will be successful. Our goal is four-pronged.
- Raise $1 million to support the ongoing mission of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity
- Expand our donor base and develop long term donor commitments
- Create continuity in our annual fund drives
- Establish a greater local awareness of Habitat for Humanity
Why does Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity need your financial support now?
- Families need adequate, safe housing at an affordable price
- Current economic conditions have made it very difficult, if not impossible, for low income families to acquire a home with traditional methods
- A traditional and reliable source of annual funding for Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity has been the sale of mortgages to local banks. Current problems in the American banking industry have, at least for the near term, removed this option as a source of support.
