Construction Volunteers

Volunteers assist with various construction projects on the build site.  Under the watchful guidance of Crew Leaders, volunteers assist with framing, siding, roofing, or whatever the task for the day includes.  We welcome volunteers of all skill levels on our worksites; no experience is necessary.  Just be open to learning and trying something new!  Most of all, be willing to have fun with the other volunteers and homeowners!

Volunteers should arrive at 7:45 a.m.  Work begins at 8 a.m., with a lunch break at noon.  The work day ends at 3:30 p.m.  All of your tools and materials will be provided for you.

We typically work every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 am to 3:30 pm during the Build Season. The specific weekdays that we work vary, depending on the needs and resources of the specific build projects. Volunteer one day or as often as your schedule allows.

Site Support Volunteers

Site support volunteers are the host/hostess of the work site.  Site support tasks include helping with registration, paperwork, lunch set up, running errands and clean-up. Site support volunteers are needed for each workday at each construction site. Please contact Eileen at 593-3921 or email her for more information.
