Construction Volunteers
We welcome volunteers of all skill levels on our worksites. We will train you “on the job”. We typically work every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 am to 3:30 pm during the Build Season. The specific weekdays that we work vary, depending on the needs and resources of the specific build projects. Volunteer one day or as often as your schedule allows. ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE. Please contact Kristen at 920-593-3921 or email her. Please fill out the volunteer forms (one volunteer information form and one waiver per person) and mail or fax them back to:

Individuals

Groups
Groups typically consist of 8-15 volunteers. It is best to contact Kristen at 920-593-3921 or email her a couple months in advance for scheduling. Groups are expected to provide lunch for all volunteers for their workday. Please contact Kristen for more information. Age Restrictions
Due to Wisconsin State Laws, we have restrictions for individuals under the age of 18 who are going to volunteer on our construction site. If you have questions or would like clarification on these restrictions please contact Kristen at 920-593-3921 or email her.
Ages 14 and 15:
- must be supervised on a 1:1 ratio
- must have submitted a release and waiver of liability for a minor form signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to work
- must not be on-site during construction
- can paint, landscape, other light duties and help with site support
- must not work on/with excavation, demolition, power tools or at heights above 6 feet
Ages 16 and 17:
- must be supervised on a 3 youths: 1 adult ratio
- must have submitted a release and waiver of liability for a minor form signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to work
- can assist with general construction/carpentry
- must not work on/with excavation, demolition or power tools
- must not work at heights above 6 feet or on the roof
No children under the age of 14 will be allowed on the site during construction hours.
Site Support Volunteers
Site support volunteers are the host/hostess of the work site. Generally, the site support person is one of the home owners; however, if they are unavailable for a build day, we are always looking for help. Site support tasks include helping with registration, paperwork, lunch set up, running errands and clean-up. Site support volunteers are needed for each workday at each construction site.
